PSU Survey Related Reports

We have received requests from several counties asking for assistance in completing the PSU survey (see attached spreadsheet). In the next week or so, three reports will be installed to assist you in responding to the first four questions in part A of the survey.

Each of the following will be a spreadsheet:

Completed Structural Permits:
Permit number, permit type, site address, work description, category of construction, type of work, number of housing units, census code, jurisdiction indicator, date C of O issued, and date finaled. The report will filter for permits that either have a C of O issued date or finaled date between specified start and end dates and record type in Residential Structural, Commercial Structural, Residential Phased Project, Commercial Phased Project, Residential 1 & 2 Fam Dwelling.

Issued Structural Permits:
Permit number, permit type, site address, work description, category of construction, type of work, number of housing units, census code, jurisdiction indicator, and date issued. The report will filter for permits that have an issued date between specified start and end dates and record type in Residential Structural, Commercial Structural, Residential Phased Project, Commercial Phased Project, Residential 1 & 2 Fam Dwelling.

Demolition Information:
Permit number, permit type, site address, work description, jurisdiction indicator, category of construction, type of work, permit finaled date. The data will be filtered for permit finaled between specified start and end dates and record type in Residential Structural, Residential Demolition, Commercial Structural, Commercial Demolition OR if the record has Type of Work = ‘Demolition’ OR if the record has a Demolition permit fee.

The data should be examined to determine how and if the record should be included in the counts on the survey.

The assessor’s office may also have data to help you corroborate or supplement your findings.

In PSU’s part A, questions 5 and 6 require a count of the complete inventory of residential buildings in your jurisdiction, the ePermitting system does not contain this information. The assessor may have that information.

In PSU’s part B, the ePermitting system does not contain this information. If the assessor uses the OR_MHODS system, there are reports that can assist in answering these questions.

ePermitting does not contain information relevant to completing PSU’s parts C and D.
